K & K SkinCare ("we", "us") is a small Saskatchewan, Canada website that offers a skincare routine quiz and links to products on Amazon.ca. We follow the principles of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This page explains what we collect (very little) and your choices.
The quiz
The quiz runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us, not stored, and not linked to you. Closing or refreshing the page clears them.
We do not collect email addresses right now. If we launch a newsletter later, we will only add you with your express consent, use your address only to send the emails you signed up for, include our mailing address and an unsubscribe link in every message as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and update this policy before collecting anything.
Amazon affiliate links and cookies
K & K SkinCare is a participant in the Amazon.ca Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.ca. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
When you click a product link, you leave our site for Amazon.ca. Amazon may set cookies or use similar technology in your browser to record that the visit came from us, so we can be credited for qualifying purchases. We do not receive your name, address, payment details or what you personally bought. Amazon's handling of your information is governed by the Amazon.ca Privacy Notice.
Our own cookies, analytics and hosting
We do not set our own cookies, use advertising trackers, or run analytics on this site. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site securely and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this page first.
If you email us
If you contact us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and keep them only as long as needed for that purpose. We never sell or rent personal information.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent and ask us to delete it. If you have a concern we can't resolve, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
